Screen Technologies
Fast and efficient self-cleaning technology with continuous flow of filtered water.
Suction-scanning screen technology combines focused flush with automation to provide 100% cleaning of the screen area. The success of this technology has established Amiad as a global leader in providing water filtration solutions. The sophisticated screen is the optimal combination of material strength, filtration efficiency and cleanability, allowing the accumulating filter cake to be rapidly and totally removed. Amiad’s suction-scanning technology enables optimal cleaning with recovery rates of up to 99%.
Disc Technologies
All polymeric depth filtration with high dirt holding capacity, effective cleaning and consistent filtration results.
Spin Klin disc technology uses thin, color-coded polymeric discs that are diagonally grooved on both sides to a specific micron size.
A series of these discs are stacked and compressed on a specially designed spine, with the top groove in the opposite to the groove below. This creates a filtration element with a significant series of channels, effectively trapping the solids. The disc stack is enclosed in corrosion and pressure resistant housing.

Fine microfibers tightly wound in layers around grooved plastic form the thread cassettes.
Amiad’s microfiber technology uses a unique thread cassette – fine threads are wound over a rigid grooved base plate that are mounted on hollow collector pipes. Water flows through the thread layers into the grooves that channel the water to specially designed outlets. The base plate supports the thread layers and plays a major role in the cleaning process of the media.
